Earth Measure – August 30, 2013

Matt and his team of assistants are closing in on the final carving.  Most of the dishes have been carved out with the exception of the eastern facing dish.  The different geometries of the concavities provide different focal points for collecting sound.  Limestone dust is everywhere but mostly on Matt and the other carvers.  Here’s some photos taken on August 30th.

I'm guessing Matt has worn through more than one circular blade lately.
